First of Two Information Sessions held

Last night, October 20, 2011, we were pleased to welcome a group of women and men to the first of two information sessions for our upcoming New Directions session. Also joining us were four New Directions graduates and a current participant, fresh from the third day of her externship with Westchester County Family Court! There was a warm, positive vibe in the room, with potential participants’ heads nodding in recognition as they listened to our graduates and our current participant share why they decided to participate in New Directions. Reasons included a desire to reclaim their professional identities as an attorney, whether in traditional law practice or an alternative legal career; and to regain their sense of confidence in their abilities, among others.
New Directions Session One, 2012 will run from January 17 – June 29, 2012 at the Pace Graduate Center in White Plains, NY. Applications are now being accepted. Please visit our website for additional information – www.law.pace.edu/newdirections
The next information session will be held on November 18, 2011, from noon – 2 pm, at the Pace Midtown Center, 551 Fifth Avenue, (45th Street and Fifth Avenue), New York.
